Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles

This easy and delicious Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles dish brings a fusion of savory and slightly sweet flavors. Inspired by traditional Mongolian-style beef dishes, it combines the umami-rich taste of soy sauce, hoisin, and ginger, blended perfectly with tender ground beef and linguine. This meal is ideal for busy weeknights when you want something quick, comforting, and full of flavor.

1 lb ground beef
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup beef broth
1/3 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp hoisin sauce
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp black pepper
Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
10 oz linguine
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
4 green onions, sliced

Directions:
1. Boil linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet, brown ground beef. Drain excess fat if needed.
3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, hoisin, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
4. Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to skillet. Stir until sauce thickens.
5. Add cooked linguine and mix until coated. Simmer for 2-3 mins.
6. Garnish with green onions and serve.
