Easy Butter Pecan Cookies

Ingredients :

1 cup butter, melted and slightly warm
½ cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1½ tsp vanilla extract
2½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1½ cups pecans, roughly chopped
Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, cream together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and fully incorporated.
Gradually add flour, cinnamon, cornstarch, baking soda, and baking powder. Stir until just combined.
Fold in chopped pecans until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Chill the dough for 30-45 minutes to firm it up, making it easier to handle.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Scoop small portions of dough, roll into balls, and place them on the prepared tray. Dough may seem crumbly, but the warmth of your hands will help it come together.
Bake for 11-14 minutes, or until cookies are golden around the edges and slightly puffy in the center. They will deflate as they cool.
