Cheesy Hamburger Potato Casserole

Ingredients :

1½ lbs ground beef
4 large russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
¾ cup milk
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil, divided
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare Ingredients: Peel and slice the potatoes thinly, and chop the onion.
Brown the Beef: Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and chopped onion, cooking until beef is browned and onion is translucent. Drain excess grease. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Layer the Casserole:
In a bowl, mix condensed cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Arrange a layer of sliced potatoes on the bottom.
Add half of the beef mixture, then pour half of the soup mixture over it. Sprinkle with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef mixture, soup mixture, and cheese.
Bake the Casserole:
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
Remove foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and the top is golden and bubbly.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
