Butter Halloumi Curry

250 g halloumi, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
2 cloves
1 cardamom pod
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp mild chili powder
240 ml tomato passata
3 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp lemon juice
80 ml light cream
30 g butter
Directions:
1. Fry garlic, ginger, cloves, and cardamom in butter.
2. Add spices, tomato paste, passata, and lemon juice. Simmer.
3. Fry halloumi until golden brown.
4. Stir cream and butter into sauce, then add halloumi.
5. Serve over rice.
