250g halloumi, sliced
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp minced ginger
2 whole cloves
1 cardamom pod
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp mild chili powder
240 ml tomato passata
3 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp lemon juice
80 ml cream
30g butter
Directions:
1. Fry garlic, ginger, cardamom, and cloves in butter.
2. Add ground spices and cook until fragrant.
3. Mix in tomato paste, passata, and lemon juice. Simmer.
4. Fry halloumi separately.
5. Stir cream and butter into sauce, then add halloumi.
