Butter Chicken, also known as Murgh Makhani, is a classic Indian dish that originated in Delhi in the 1950s. This dish features tender chicken marinated in a blend of spices and yogurt, then simmered in a luscious tomato-based sauce. 1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tbsp grated ginger
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1.5 lb chicken thighs, bite-sized
2 tbsp ghee or butter
1 cup tomato passata
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
1. Marinate chicken in yogurt, spices, ginger, and garlic for 3+ hours.
2. Cook chicken in ghee until white.
3. Add passata, cream, sugar, and salt; simmer for 20 min.
