16 oz rigatoni or penne
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp minced garlic
2/3 cup tomato paste
1 1/3 cup heavy cream
2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tsp dried basil
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated parmesan
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Pasta water
Directions
1. Cook pasta; reserve 1 cup pasta water.
2. Sauté garlic and tomato paste in olive oil.
3. Add heavy cream, seasonings, parmesan, butter, and pasta water.
4. Toss pasta in sauce, garnish, and serve!
