Baked Crunchy Hot Honey Chicken
Who doesn’t love the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and crispy? This Baked Crunchy Hot Honey Chicken combines the sweetness of honey with a spicy kick, all wrapped in a crunchy cornflake coating. Inspired by classic Southern cuisine, this healthier, baked version gives you all the crunch without the deep fry!
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 cup flour
2 eggs (beaten)
2 cups crushed cornflakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper
Cooking spray Hot Honey Glaze:
1/4 cup honey, 2 tbsp hot sauce
1 tbsp melted butter, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Coat chicken in flour, eggs, and seasoned cornflakes.
3. Bake on greased rack for 25-30 mins.
4. Mix honey, hot sauce, butter, vinegar.
5. Brush glaze on baked chicken.
